Community Centers and Activities Clubs

Charan leads workshops and gives performances at a variety of local venues. At community centres he is asked to give workshops in creative dance movement, Nepalese dance and Bollywood. He has also been to a range of local groups from faith groups to forest schools.

Case Study:Nepalese dance class: Gresham Village A year long weekly class open to all, exploring and developing fundamental movements of Nepalese folk and classical dance. The participants learnt both traditional choreography and also developed and then linked their own movements to create a piece. Participant: "Incredible to have such an accomplished and gifted Nepalese dancer to teach in a rural area. Although I find it difficult to remember, I look forward to the energy of it each week."
