Charan is often asked to lead workshops and perform at festival events such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh Melas, the Big Tent Festival, Knockengorroch festival, Traquair Fair, Edinburgh Meadows Festival.

Case Study: Edinburgh Mela - Open workshops A series of one-hour workshops designed for a mix of abilities, exploring and understanding some of the basic movements of Nepalese dance. People just turn up to these workshops and have a lot of fun. "Watching Charan in action is always a delight - whether he is taking the stage himself or sharing his skills with groups. He puts his heart and energy into his work, transmits energy and enthusiasm and his dance abilities are superb.
